Carl Hansen & Søn
Danish design icons
Since 1908, Carl Hansen & Søn has stood for Danish craftsmanship and enduring design. Creations by internationally renowned designers are still made in Denmark today – with high-quality materials and a clear focus on function, comfort and precision.
CH24 Wishbone Chair: The classic
The Wishbone Chair by Hans J. Wegner has been produced since 1950 and ranks among the most significant chairs of Danish modernism. Its defining features are the Y-shaped backrest and the hand-woven paper cord seat. A design that blends effortlessly into a variety of interiors – and yet remains distinctive.
Side tables CH004: reduction at its best
Designed in 1952, the CH004 tables showcase Wegner’s feel for proportion and function. Clean-lined, understated in expression and versatile in use – as side tables, bedside tables or standalone pieces.
Lighting: Light with a Scandinavian signature
Function and atmosphere combined! The EK61 by Esben Klint pairs mouth-blown opal glass with wooden details to create a soft light. The HJW37 by Hans J. Wegner, with its crisp metal shade, offers precise accents. Both designs stand for what the brand is all about: material honesty, balance and considered design.
Outdoor: designs that get better with time
Even outdoors, the design language remains clear and pared-back. Models such as the AH901 garden table or the stackable AH502 chair are made from FSC™-certified teak that develops a natural patina over the years. Robust, high-quality and made for many seasons.
