If moisture remains on the surface for an extended period of time—about 24 hours—it can leave fine water marks as it evaporates. These can be removed with a stainless steel cleaner if necessary, but are usually easy to clean without special cleaning agents. For heavier soiling, a mild soap solution can be used. Then wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth to avoid residue.
